Originally published as a paperback in 1998 by Random House Australia, now self published in both ebook and print forms, When Shadows Fall is a novella set in Tasmania, Australia. It is the story of a modern woman who falls in love with the ghost of Devlin, a boatman from convict days, and then finds herself stepping back into the past. This is one of my favourite books and I was keen to share it once more.
